Being recognized for such an award is a testament to our diverse workplace here at BloomBright, and our everyday efforts to connect diverse top talent with the top tech companies in the industry. This past October, our team members Tony and Nathalie had the opportunity to attend the 2019 Tech In Motion Timmy Awards in Santa Monica as a representative of BloomBright. During the event, hosted at the incubator and coworking space Cross Campus, we had the opportunity to enjoy networking, product demos, and music. We even ran into one of our favorite local tech friends Tony Cox, the CEO of Bakt Koffee

In addition to recognizing BloomBright as the “Best Workplace for Diversity”, Tech in Motion also acknowledges and applauds strong management and work culture through two other awards. The organization itself was started by two IT recruiting firms in 2011, and has since grown into a vibrant organization hosting discussions and nationwide tech events. Through the Timmy Awards, Tech In Motion is able to bring regional tech communities together through recognition of their achievements.

The BloomBright team

BloomBright takes pride in our own hiring practices and workplace culture that makes us great. Through our weekly all-hands video call, our one-to-one meetings with Founder/CEO Cara to foster growth and leadership, and our super-positive Slack channel where open communication and efficiency run wild, we are able to sow the seeds of inclusiveness and diversity amongst our team. These are things we strive daily to achieve in ourselves and mirror in the technology industry.

Joining the ranks of heavy hitters like Oracle, Adobe, Facebook, Salesforce, and LinkedIn, we are thrilled to continue the work towards the goals of workplace diversity that these companies helped create. Having a diverse workplace is our bread and butter; we are excited to keep the community feeling flowing throughout the rest of 2019 and into 2020!
